Common questions about voting, credits, and platform policies.
How do voting credits work?
Each plan has monthly credits and a daily limit. Free: 10 votes/month, 1/day. Starter: 150 votes/month, 5/day. Pro: 300 votes/month, 10/day. Max: 600 votes/month, 20/day. You can vote for different sites each day up to your daily limit. Credits reset monthly and unused credits do not carry over.
Can I vote for multiple sites per day?
Yes! Depending on your plan, you can vote for multiple different sites per day (Free: 1 site, Starter: 5 sites, Pro: 10 sites, Max: 20 sites). However, you can only vote for each specific site once per day. Your daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
Can I change my website URL?
Yes, you can change your URL through the Submit page. However, changing your URL will reset your vote count to zero because votes are tied to the specific address. You can edit your listing up to 5 times per day, and this limit resets at midnight UTC.
How do I delete my website?
To remove your listing, send an email to support@ranking.show with your website address. We process removal requests within 1-2 business days.
What timezone do rankings use?
All rankings operate on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Daily rankings reset at midnight UTC, monthly rankings begin on the 1st at 00:00 UTC, and yearly rankings start on January 1st at 00:00 UTC. Your daily vote limit refreshes at midnight UTC. See the Rules page for full details.
Why was my site hidden?
Sites are hidden if they violate our content standards (see Rules). You should have received an email notification with the specific reason. If you believe this was a mistake, reply to the notification email or contact support@ranking.show.
How do I appeal an account ban?
Account bans are communicated via email with the reason for termination. To appeal, reply directly to the notification email or contact support@ranking.show. Include your account email and explain why you believe the ban was incorrect.
Can I vote for my own site?
Yes. Self-voting is allowed and explicitly permitted in our Rules. We believe in transparency over artificial restrictions.
How often are rankings updated?
Rankings update in real-time as votes are cast. The countdown timer on the homepage shows when the current period ends and a new ranking cycle begins.
Do unused credits expire?
Yes. Credits are a monthly quota: each new month replaces your balance with a fresh allowance, so unused credits do not carry over. On a paid plan the month follows your billing period; on the free plan it follows the date you signed up.
Can I submit multiple websites?
No. Each member may submit exactly one website. This is enforced to maintain fairness and prevent gaming the rankings.
